Home Clearout is a trading name of Waste Growth Partners, company number 17333854, registered office 328 Downham Way, Bromley, Kent, BR1 5NR. We run this website and the phone number on it, and we are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].


What we do


Home Clearout is a booking and introduction service. We do not carry out collections. Collections booked through this site are carried out by Local Waste Removal, an independent company. When you call the number on this site, your call is answered by Local Waste Removal.


What we collect


When you call us:

  • your phone number
  • the date, time and length of the call
  • a recording of the call
  • anything you tell the team during the call, such as your name, address and the items you want collected


When you email us, we collect your email address and whatever you write.

When you visit the site, and only if you accept cookies, we collect your IP address, device and browser details, and which advert brought you here. See Cookies below.

How we use your information

  • To connect your call to Local Waste Removal so they can quote for and carry out the job. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the introduction service, and taking the steps you have asked for.
  • To record calls so we can check the quality of enquiries, settle any questions about a booking, and improve the service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • To measure which adverts lead to calls. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • To keep records we are required by law to keep. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing by other companies. We do not make automated decisions about you.


Who we share it with

  • Local Waste Removal, who answer your call, quote for the work and carry out the collection. They use your information under their own privacy policy.
  • WhatConverts, the call tracking provider that connects and records calls and stores recordings on our behalf. WhatConverts is based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the safeguards in our agreement with them.
  • Google, for advertising measurement, only if you accept cookies.
  • Our website hosting provider, and the service that displays Google reviews on this site.


We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.


Cookies


This site uses a cookie banner. Only essential cookies are set until you make a choice. Marketing and statistics cookies, used by Google Ads and WhatConverts to link calls to adverts, are set only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. Our cookie policy lists each cookie we use.


How long we keep it

  • Call recordings and call details: 12 months, then deleted.
  • Emails: 12 months after your enquiry is closed.


Security

Call details and recordings are held in WhatConverts' secure platform. Access is limited to the person who runs Home Clearout. Local Waste Removal see only the enquiries they handle.


Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, including call recordings, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.


Changes to this policy

We update this page when anything changes, and the date at the top shows the latest version.
