Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your phone or computer. Some are needed for a site to work. Others are used to measure how people arrive at a site and what they do there. This page explains which ones we use, why, and how you can control them.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for two things only:

  • Essential - to remember the choice you make in our cookie banner so we don't ask you again. These are set without consent, because the site needs them to respect your decision.
  • Marketing and statistics - to understand which adverts bring people to this site and lead to a phone call. These are set only if you accept them in the banner.

We do not use cookies for advertising by other companies, and we do not sell information collected through them.

If you reject marketing cookies, Google's measurement tag still runs but without cookies. It sends anonymous signals about the visit that cannot identify you. WhatConverts does not set its cookie, and the phone number on the page stays the same for everyone.

Your choices

When you first visit, the banner lets you accept or reject marketing and statistics cookies. Both choices take one tap, and rejecting does not stop you using the site or calling the number.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the banner may appear again on each visit.

Third parties

Two companies set or read cookies on this site when you accept them:

  • Google - for advertising measurement. Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles data.
  • WhatConverts - our call tracking provider, which uses its cookie to connect calls to adverts. WhatConverts is based in the United States, and transfers are covered by the safeguards in our agreement with them.

The Google reviews shown on the site are loaded from Trustindex. Our scan found no cookies set by that service. [Confirm with the scanner and delete this sentence if it finds any; list them in the table instead.]
